A bus, trolley, or carriage tour are three of
the best ways to see the city of Philadelphia, because so much
of it must be experienced first-hand to be fully enjoyed.
The following organizations provide very reputable service and
can be trusted to deliver the best possible quality.

On this tour of Philadelphia's historic
district, guides take visitors around on trolley busses and
offer complete narration of the city's history and main
attractions. The tour combines walking with trolley
riding; it leaves at regular intervals from all of the major hotels, as well
as both Visitor Centers. It is recommended that you call
in advance to finalize your reservation and make sure that all
tours are running.
Penn's Landing Trolley
P.O. Box 7285

done through antique-looking streetcars from the old days of
Philadelphia. If you're looking to get on one of these
crazy contraptions, hang around the Delaware Avenue area where
it intersects Dock or Spruce Streets. The tours are
available during the spring and summer months and do require
