1)Franklin Institute

This one tops our list for several reasons. First off, the sheer amount of fun things to do is simply enormous...you'll enjoy yourself so much, you'll forget it's educational. Combine that with the fact that it's perfect fun for the whole family, and it's no secret why the Institute tops our list.

2)Independence Hall

In a city as rich in history as Philadelphia, no visit is complete without a stop at Indy Hall. The well-educated tour guides and painstakingly preserved rooms truly convey the important events that happened in this city hundreds of years ago.

3)Philadelphia Museum of Art

The art museum is one of our favorite stops, due to its ever-changing feature exhibits and sheer size. It houses over 300,000 works of art and is recognized as one of the best museums in America.  Wednesday nights are also a blast here, with dinner and dancing. You definitely won't be disappointed.

4)Liberty Bell

This one-of-a-kind piece of history may sound a bit dull to just stop by and admire, but take our word for it; it's not. Boasting perhaps the city's most educated and entertaining guides, the Bell is an immediate symbol of all that this country holds dear.

5)Academy of Natural Sciences

The Academy cannot be missed, with its impressive statues lining the perimeter and extensive creepy exhibits within. Constant new research and exhibits make this one of our favorites, and kids flip for the dinosaur fossils.
